Partially renovated, the existing house contains the bedrooms and bathrooms. A straight staircase connects the two buildings. The extension has been designed as a single space. Occupying the entire space, the various functions (kitchen and living room) are demarcated by different levels and furniture elements.
The structural design (wood, metal and exposed concrete) of this new building allows it to assert itself over the length of the main façade and also cover the terrace. Floor-to-ceiling windows emphasise the relationship with the garden.
