Villa extension, Vandoeuvres

The existing house occupies the upper part of the plot. From the entrance hall, a staircase leads to the new space with broken lines, which is built into the hillside.

The corridor divides and connects the two distinct areas. The glazed side of the corridor provides access to the relaxation area (swimming pool, fitness area, sauna and massage room). The other side leads to three bedrooms.

An inverted cross-beam, which also acts as a parapet for the upper garden, supports the roof. The long floor-to-ceiling window is thus free of any columns, emphasising the relationship with the exterior. The whole is expressed in a dynamic interplay between the white concrete elements. The interior is finished in bronze-coloured polished concrete, white plaster and stained oak.
