Peschier School, Geneva

Set on a plot typical of the Champel neighbourhood, the Peschier School's location creates a transition between the greenery of Parc Bertrand and the built environment of Avenue Dumas.

The position of the entrance provides a clear separation between school and extracurricular activities. The gymnasium completes the development and protects the playground from the street. The precisely sized spaces are organised by a repetitive framework, while the classrooms are oriented to give clear and generous views of the playground.

Apart from the basement and bracing, the structure (columns, beams and joints) and the façades are made entirely of wood.
